Terry Jean Britt, 56, a life-long resident of Sikeston, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at her home in Sikeston. She was born May 22, 1959 in Sikeston to Harold Eugene Britt and the late Ida Aliean (Bone) Hall. She had been employed in the Deli at Food Giant and was a member of Potter House Ministries in Sikeston. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her step-father, Billy Gene Hall and 1 brother, Danny Britt. Survivors include her father and stepmother, Harold and Darlene Britt of LaCenter, KY; 2 brothers, Harold (Barbara) Britt of Sikeston and Ricky (Susan) Hall of Perryville; 7 sisters, Patricia (Donnie) O'Dell of Sikeston, Monnie (Greg) McDonald of Sikeston, Lisa (Charles) Overton of Matthews, Connie McKnight of Florida, Lisa Lofton of East Prairie, and Kay Layton and Karen Seaton both of LaCenter. Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 11 at Blanchard Funeral Chapel from 1:00 pm until time for memorial service at 2:00 pm. Rev. Allen Basham, pastor of Cape First Church of Sikeston will officiate.
