Obituary

TERRY BRUCE MARSHALL, age 65, a resident of Fountain Inn, SC, formerly of Mississippi County, died on Friday, February 28, 2014, at the Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC.

He was born April 12, 1948 in the Pinhook Community of Mississippi County to the late Joe Tom and Beatrice Newberry Marshall. In 1970 he was employed by the New Madrid School District as an electrician. From 1972 – 1975 he worked as electrician supervisor for Kennett Electrical Corporation. He moved to the Greenville, SC area in 1975 where he attended Holmes Bible College and obtained a Bachelor of Art degree in Theology with emphasis in Philosophy and Greek. While a student at Holmes Bible College, he worked for McDonalds Restaurant in electrical maintenance then in 1977 was employed as electrical technician with El Perrigo Corporation. In 1987 he accepted employment with Bausch Lomb in Greenville, SC where he was currently employed as lead mechanic. He had received numerous certifications in the field of electronics including Brockwell Advanced Hydraulic Systems; AMI Welding Systems Operations, Lewellyn Basic Industrial Electricity; ATMS Industrial Electronic Controls; and had completed Leadership Management Training through Development Dimensions International.

Surviving are two daughters, Nikki Sartin of Gravois Mills and Carmen (Mike) Frisch of Kansas City; one brother, Forest (Dona) Marshall of York, SC; three sisters, LaDonna Grissom of Charleston, Lisa Marshall of East Prairie and Necia Maxfield of Enid, OK; three grandsons, Justin Marshall, Jacob Sartin, and Jarod Sartin all of Kansas City; one granddaughter, Angelina Frisch of Kansas City; and his first wife, Catherine Metcalf (Blake) Asher of Kansas City.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the McMikle Funeral Home where Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Rev. Gerald Penn, pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Charleston, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
