Terry Lynn Sprinkles, age 68, passed away peacefully in her home on June 14, 2025, in East Prairie, MO, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Terry was born on April 26, 1957, to Garland and Kitty (Tousky) Nelson in Cairo, IL, and resided in Charleston, M0, during the majority of her childhood.  On December 5, 1977, she married Archie Earl Sprinkles and remained so until his death on February 21, 1990.  She later met and began her life with her long-term partner, Stephen Stokes.  Their journey together lasted nearly 29 years until his death on March 22, 2020.  Her joy and love for reading led her to find her way as a Librarian until her retirement after nearly 30 years with the Mississippi County Library District.  Along with her love for reading, Terry was a truly amazing crocheter and enjoyed gifting her creations to others as a sign of her love.

Terry is survived by her daughter, Nicole Sprinkles Gregory and son-in-law Brandon Gregory; her daughter, Kimberly Hutcheson and son-in-law Hunter Hutcheson; her three younger sisters, Mary Rita Jones, Tammy Leigh Marshall, and Margaret Ruth McDowell; and many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, her three precious grand-dogs, and two children she loved as though they were her own grandkids, Drew and Taryn Irby.

Terry requested to have a small celebration of her life with those that had been closest to her and her loved ones.  A graveside service will be held at the Memorial Park Cemetery in East Prairie on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.  Dawn Walters will officiate.

Interment will follow under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
