Theodore Lucian "Bud" Hager, Jr., 91, died Saturday at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. He was born May 26, 1925 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to the late Theodore L., Sr. and Ivy May (Barnhill) Hager. A resident of Sikeston since 1981, he had previously resided in Michigan and Florida. He had received an associate degree in real estate and was a licensed agent in Michigan and Florida and had also been a general construction contractor. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Immokalee, Florida and of the Immokalee Masonic Lodge. He was a veteran of the U. S. Marines during World War II and was the recipient of a Purple Heart for injuries incurred from Sugar Loaf Hill in Okinawa. He was married to Mozelle Mays July 31, 1943 in Morehouse and she survives of the home. Also surviving are one sister, Pauline Caffery of Pocahontas, Ark. and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
