Thomas Jay Hubbert, age 63, formerly of Sikeston, died Monday, October 3, 2022, at his home in Poplar Bluff, MO.

He was born May 28, 1959, at Sikeston, MO, to the late Walter "Ray" Hubbert and Viva Jay Ramsey Hubbert.  He had lived in Sikeston and Scott County most of his life until recently moving to Poplar Bluff.  He owned and operated his own refrigeration service and was later employed as a truck driver.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Surviving are his children, T.J. Hubbert, Adrian (Matt) Pobst, Justin Hubbert and Seth Thomas Hubbert; his brothers and sisters, James Ray (Rhonda) Hubbert of Memphis, TN; Cindi (Kenny) Cantrell of Sikeston, MO; Donna (Darren) Martin of Sikeston, MO; his sister in law, Lynn Hubbert of Oran, MO; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Virgil Joseph "Joe" Hubbert.

Family and friends may assemble at 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2022, for full military graveside rites at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
