Obituary

THOMAS EARL SUGGS, Age 61, a resident of the Dogwood Community near East Prairie, died Monday, September 20, 2010 at the Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

Born June 25, 1949, at Bassett, Arkansas, to the late Thomas Edgar and Hazel Loretta Townsend Suggs, he moved to Missouri from Arkansas in 1970 and had been employed in farming most of his life. He was a member the Wyatt Baptist Church.

On August 1, 1970, he married Margie Marie Norman, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are: two sons and one daughter in law, Billy and Tammy Harris Suggs of Wyatt and Randy Suggs of the Dogwood Community; two daughters and sons in law, Melinda and Dan Mowery of Poplar Bluff, MO and Starla and William Russell "Little Bill" Harris of Wyatt; two brothers, Thomas Lee Suggs of Louisiana and Earl Catt of Lapanto, AR; three sisters, Geneva Jean Godwin of Dyess, AR; Linda Bradberry of Dewitt, AR and Betty Taylor of Mississippi; six grandchildren, Cody Don Suggs, Micheal Dale Harris, LeAnne Marie Harris, Samantha Michelle Harris, William Russell Harris, III and Thomas Wade Harris.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. Dean Wallace, pastor of the Wyatt Baptist Church, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Jerry Hailey, Jeff Hailey, James Godwin, Lee Sherrill, Eddie Miller and Jonathan Prieto.

Thomas would wish that you dress casual for his services.
