TONY GILTZ
HARRY ANTHONY 'TONY' GILTZ, III, Age 73, a resident of Charleston, died Sunday, December 11, 2016, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born April 21, 1943, in Charleston, MO, to the late Harry Anthony Giltz, Jr. and Louretta Burke Giltz, he was raised in Charleston and attended Charleston Schools. Engaged in farming and raising cattle, he was an active member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 323, an active advisor for the Order of the Arrow and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
On August 1, 1968, he married Janis Baker, who survives of the home.
Also surviving is one son, Harry Anthony "Gil" Giltz, IV of Charleston; one daughter, Cari Giltz of Fort Worth, TX; one sister, Karen Moore of Charleston; two grandchildren, Maverick Giltz and Victoria Ray.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother in law, Jim Moore.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time for the memorial service at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at the United Methodist Church in Charleston. Rev. J. Robert Webster, pastor, will officiate. A eulogy will be offered by Richard Logan.
