Vickie Sue Myers Sanders, formerly of East Prairie, MO, was born June 18, 1955, in Missouri and passed away peacefully at her home in Texas, Monday, December 9, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family.

She was the daughter of the late Joe and Kathleen Myers.  Vickie married the love of her life, Eddie Dean Sanders, Sr., on August 11, 1970, and together they built a family filled with warmth and affection.

A devoted mother, Vickie is survived by her children, Melinda (Jason) Brown, Eddie (Andrea) Sanders, Joey (Heather) Sanders and Jordan (Nitisha) Sanders.  Her nurturing spirit extended to her grandchildren, whom she adored: Rowdy (Jason "Jace") Phillips, Madelyn (Nick) Rexilius, Madalyn (Tucker) Riggs, Dylan Brown, Blade Turner, Brylee Sanders, Lance Sanders, Ally Johnson, Blair Sanders, Pierce Sanders, and Mally Riggs. She is also survived by her sister, Joetta Blumenberg and brother Gary Myers, as well as several nieces and nephews, who will continue to cherish her memory.

Vickie was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Sanders, Sr., her parents, and her sisters, Shirley Chance, Barbara Foster, Betty Mitchell, Penny Houston, Marie Myers and Rita Myers as well as her brothers, Larry Joe Myers and James Elmer Myers.

In accordance with her wishes, Vickie was cremated in Texas.   A graveside memorial service will be announced at a later date, where family and friends will be invited to celebrate her life and bid farewell to a remarkable woman
