VICTOR LOUIS PAZDERA, age 74, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at his residence in rural Charleston.
He was born June 3, 1939 in Darnell, AR to the late Martin A. and Josephine Prochazka Pazdera.
He had lived in Mississippi County most of his life where he had been co-owner of Pazdera Construction, had farmed and worked with Mid Valley Irrigation for 20 years until his retirement. He was member of St. Henry Catholic Church in Charleston, the Knights of Columbus, and a former member of Charleston Jaycee's.
On February 2, 1963 he married Mary Ann McMillen who preceded him in death on December 30, 2010.
Surviving are one son Scott (Lori) Pazdera of Charleston; three daughters, Robin Slaten and Vickie (Jeff) Humphrey all of Charleston, and Tammy (Richard) McCullough of Queen City, TX; two brothers, Martin (Peggy) Pazdera of Charleston and George (Carolyn) Pazdera of Diehlstadt; one sister, Mary Ann (Donnie) Nelson of Dickinson, TX; eight grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
One granddaughter, Jessica Ann Pazdera, one brother, Joe Pazdera, and one son in law, Johnny Slaten preceded him in death.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 7, 2014, at McMikle Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m until the Funeral Hour at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Gerald Penn, pastor of First Assembly of God Church in Charleston, will officiate.
Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Garrett Jr., Larry Estes Jr., James Grisso Sr., Bobby Slaten, Bobby Kuykendall II, and David Wilson.
