VICTORIA MAY SURFACE, age 90, a resident of Sikeston died Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born November 2, 1926 in Bertrand to Elza and Mary Allie Hall Lynn, she had lived in Sikeston since 1999. She was a 1944 graduate of Diehlstadt High School and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Sikeston.

On November 10, 1963 she married Bob Surface who preceded her in death on April 15, 1999.

Surviving are one son, Keith Bowles of Dallas, GA; four daughters, Brenda Angell of Dallas, GA, Dorothy Bowles of Dexter, Agatha Varnadore of Sikeston, and Molly Owens of St. Louis; one sister, Mary Lou Parr of Bertrand; also 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Michelle Bowles; one son, Milton L. Bowles; and one brother, Donald Lynn.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2017, at the McMikle Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the Funeral Hour at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Jerry Adams, pastor of The Lighthouse in Malden, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the IOOF Cemetery under the direction of McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Justin Decker, Steve Smith, Donald Gene Lynn, Billy Varnadore, David Burnes, Kevin Humphries, Miraha Burnes, and Benjamun Burnes.
