Victoria Ann "Vickie" Wilson, age 63, passed away peacefully early Monday, November 3, 2025, at her home in Sikeston, MO.
Born January 16, 1962, at Benton, Mo., to the late Victor Louis Welter and Lillie May LeDure Welter, she grew up in the Benton area and was a 1980 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School. Vickie was employed with Mid-South Office Supply in Sikeston for over 25 years.
Vickie had a heart and love for her country, especially our United States Veterans. It was her biggest passion to serve them and the needs of their families. Starting as a young child, Vickie had served as a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 114 for 62 years. She held every office in the local post and was the district president for 12 consecutive years. She was a driving force behind the annual Poker Run that benefited the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
Surviving is her son, Jacob Wilson; her grandson, Brody Nall; her stepchildren, Brian Kilburn, Jason Kilburn, Tom Kilburn, Angie Kilburn Bond and Ben Nall and their families; her closest and dearest longtime friend, Anne Britt Quick; her daughter in law, Ashley Lay; her brothers, Jerome (Betty) Welter, Gary (Joyce) Welter, Murphy Welter, Dudley (Cheryl) Welter and Michael (Karen Kinder) Welter; her sister, Linda Mungle; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Shane Nall, Robert Wilson and Jeremy Lee Nall; her stepdaughter, Leah Kilburn; her brothers, Dewayne Welter, Larry Welter and Charlie Welter and her sisters, Patsy Peters and Gerri Lawson.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 7, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Scott Sutton Officiating. The American Legion Auxiliary will conduct honors immediately following.
Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be Murphy Welter, Dudley Welter, Michael Welter, Randy Welter, John Welter and Brayden Tingwell.
Immediately following the interment, a meal will be provided by the American Legion Auxiliary Post 114 at the American Legion building, 333 South Kingshighway, Sikeston, Mo.
