Virginia Dare Lair, age 61, of Sikeston, MO, died Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

She was born October 4, 1961, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Oliver Glen Johnson and Dorothy Mae Lewis.  She lived in Southeast Missouri most of her life and was of the Jehovah's Witness belief.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Steven Ford Lair of Sikeston, MO; three sons; Jeffrey Nation of Arkansas, Richard Nation of Compton, MO and Dennis Johnson of Poplar Bluff, MO; two grandchildren;  many brothers and sisters;  a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private service will be held at a later date.

McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston in charge of arrangements.
