Vivian Grace Davis, age 93, a long time resident of Sikeston, died Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at the Westfield Nursing Center near Sikeston.

She was born April 29, 1928, in Lilbourn, MO, to the late Edward and Polly Ann Hessling. Grace was a member of the Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church of Sikeston, MO. She worked at Jones Rexall Drugstore in Lilbourn for a number of years and then as a machine operator at Anchor Toy. Grace was also a seamstress.

On September 15, 1962, she married Ralph Davis, who preceded her in death on February 10, 2017.

Surviving are her children, Doyle (Bobbi) Hadley and Sharon Stricker of Sikeston, MO; Deborah Christie of St. Louis, MO; and Tammy Dame of Dexter, MO; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Hadley; five brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 25, 2021, at McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston.

Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.
