Wendell A. Griswell

Wendell A. Griswell, age 60, passed away peacefully at his home in Sikeston, Thursday, April 4, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Born April 16, 1963, at Vanduser, MO, to the late W.A. Griswell and Hazel Baker Griswell, he had lived in Mississippi a few years, but returned to Sikeston where he lived most of his life.  He was a mechanic and jack of all trades, loved hunting and being outdoors.  He was employed With Ozark tire for several years.

On July 26, 1985, he married Barbara Copeland, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his son, David Griswell and his daughter, April (Robert Beck) Griswell all of Sikeston; his grandchildren, Drake, Dominic, Sunny, Cayden and Parker; his brothers, Bobby Griswell and Johnny Griswell both of Sikeston.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Wendell Dewayne Griswell in September 1985, and his brother, Floyd Griswell.

Private services will be held.

McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
