WILBURN "ROY" PEMBERTON, age 73, died on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at his residence in Bertrand.

He was born January 1, 1946 in Deventer to Clarence and Juanita Bickford Pemberton. He had lived in Missouri and Arkansas and was employed as a Mechanic and Truck Driver. He was of Baptist Belief.

Surviving are one son, Jonathan Roy Pemberton of Little Rock, AR; seven brothers, Bobby Pemberton, Walter Pemberton, Michael Pemberton, Mark Pemberton, all of Diehlstadt; Billy Pemberton of Rochelle, IL, Larry Pemberton of Sycamore, IL; Delbert Pemberton of Dexter; also five sisters, Patsy Orth of DeKalb, IL, Carolyn Taylor of Sycamore, IL , Connie Simmons of Diehlstadt, and Pamela McConkey and Sharon Dorris both of Bertrand; also 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Lesa Dietz, and one sister, Joyce White.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Sikeston with Chris Whybark of Sikeston officiating.
