Obituary

WILLIAM THOMAS 'BILL' JACKSON, SR., Age 68, a resident of Williamsville, MO, died Saturday, January 4, 2014, at the home of his daughter in Diehlstadt.

Born, December 18, 1945, at Red Bay, Alabama, to the late Roy Jackson and Myrtle Jackson White, he had lived in Mississippi County a number of years and had lived in Williamsville the past three years. He had been employed as a farmer for Richard Pike Farms a number of years until he began driving a truck.

He was first married to Margaret Sisk who preceded him in death on May 24, 2004. He was later married to Shirley Harris, who also preceded him in death.

Survivors include two sons, William Jackson, Jr. and his wife Nicole Jackson of Williamsville, MO and Richard Jackson and his wife Terrina Jackson of Poplar Bluff, MO; one daughter, Kimberly Crawford and her companion, John Carter of Diehlstadt; one sister, Shirley Casey of Vanduser, MO; his grandchildren, Madison Blasingain, Lindsey Blasingain, Taylor Blasingain, Bethany (Matt) Gilmore, Cody Jackson, Stephen Jackson, Timothy Fitzgerald; John Carter, Jr., Johnna-Marie Carter, Micala Carter, MacKenzie Carter, Danielle (Jody Polley) Jackson, William (Trish) Heppe; three great grandchildren, DJ Terry, Keyleigh Polley and Olivia Polley. Also surviving are one stepson, Johnny (Katy) Layton of Charleston; one stepdaughter, Jayna Love of Charleston; and step grandchildren, Jacob Layton, Ethan Layton, Donnie Humphreys and Madilyn Jane Love.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Denise "Sandy" Jackson; one stepson, Eddie Layton; one grandson, Jonathon Skyler Carter and by two infant brothers.

Visitation will be held from 1:15 p.m., Friday, January 10, 2013 until time for the memorial services at 2:00 p.m., at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Rev. John Vaughn of Poplar Bluff, will officiate.

Interment will follow at a later date in Red Bay, Alabama.
