Junior Brewer

Willie Earl Brewer, Jr., age 59, a resident of Sikeston, formerly of Charleston, died Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau.

He was born August 22, 1963, at Charleston, MO to the late Willie Earl Brewer and Mary Viola Jones Brewer, he had lived in Sikeston a number of years and had been employed as a carpenter and in upholstery work.  He was of Baptist belief.

He was married to Nikki Heavener, who preceded him in death.

Surviving is his son, Joseph Lee Earl Brewer; his grandchildren, Kasen, Karleigh and Kazlynn Brewer; his sisters, Ruby Brewer, Mary Williams, Linda Kay Haynes, Bonnie Sue Brewer and Donna Faye Hartwick; also, his lifelong friend, David Terry, Sr, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Wright and Eugene Wright.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 15, 2022, at the McMikle Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be David Terry, Jr., Richard Jackson, DJ Terry, Landon Terry, Howard Williams, Jr. and Joshua Arnett.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shawn Billington, Larry Borders, Jimmy Williams, Tyler Lashley and Brandon Borders.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McMikle Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses.
