Obituary

WILLIS MAC PASSLEY, SR., age 74, died Monday, January 1, 2018, at his home in Charleston.

Born May 1, 1943, at Charleston, to the late Sam Passley and Nellie Murr Passley, he had lived in Charleston his entire life and had been employed with the Mississippi County Highway Department. He was most known for his playing of "Santa Claus" until health forced his retirement. A member of the Church of God of Prophecy, he was a U.S. Marine Veteran.

On November 25, 1965, he married Nola Faye McMillen, who survives of the home.

Also surviving are two sons, Willis (Alma) Passley, Jr., of Bertrand and Sammy Lee (Renea Ballard) Passley of Morley; two daughters, Kelly Diane (Ron) Passley-Mabry of Charleston and Terri Suzanne (Johnny Webb) Passley of Desoto; two sisters, Mae Bowles of Charleston and Beverly Watson of Tulsa, OK; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Edward Passley and one sister, Patricia Ann Bannister.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 5, 2018, at the McMikle Funeral Home. Bruce Hall, will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston with full military rites provided by the Missouri Military Honor Guard.

Pallbearers will be: Christopher Boren, Jr., Scott Pazdera, Jeff Humphrey, Larry Estes, Jr., Braxton Passley, David Wilson and Max Bannister, Jr.
