Wilson Adams

James Wilson Adams, age 63, died Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at his home in Diehlstadt.

Born December 2, 1960, at Rockford, IL, to the late James Richard Adams and Mary Louise Talley Adams, he had lived in Diehlstadt most of his life and had been employed as a painter.  Wilson was a U.S. Navy Veteran.

On January 20, 1988, he married Sarah Louise Murphy, who preceded him in death February 17, 2002.

He then married Carla Jo Humphrey Miller, on June 17, 2017, after being together a number of years.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, James William Adams, Dustin William Adams, James Edward Adams, Jesse Lynn Adams, James Randall (Bianca) Miller and Heather Miller; 13 grandchildren; his sisters, Tamera Kay (Jim) Snider and Carolyn Louise (Orville) Enderle; also, several nieces and nephews and a number of cousins.

In addition to his first wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Iziah Miller.

Graveside services will be held at the Maynard Cemetery near Diehlstadt at a later date.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
