ZETTA MAE CHANDLER BELL, Age 73, a resident of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born January 30, 1946, at Wyatt, MO, to the late Laudy Forrest Chandler and Elzetta Jordan Chandler, she had lived in the Cape Girardeau and surrounding areas for over 40 years where she had been employed as a manager for several convenience stores including Rhodes and also with Walmart a number of years.
She was married to Billy Bell, who survives.
Also surviving are her son, Michael (Amy) Bell of Cape Girardeau; her daughter, Misty (Rex) Overbey of Scott City; grandchildren, Brandi (Keith McDowell) Bell, Mariah Brookmyer, Lynsey Schmidt and Quade Overbey; four brothers, Robert Chandler and Wilford Chandler of Texarkana, AR; Forrest Chandler of Little Rock, AR and Joe Chandler of Charleston; four sisters, Freda Quertermous and Mary Ann Jones of Charleston; Martha Norris of Marble Hill and Debbie Chandler of Morristown, TN; also a number of nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Chandler.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2019, at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
