Donald Lee Sams, age 85, a resident of Charleston, passed way Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.  The Rev. James Halkis, pastor of the First Assembly of God Church in Charleston, will officiate.

Interment with full military honors will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.
