Erica Fredrica was born September 1, 1986, in Sikeston, MO, to Carolyn Owens Jones and Fredrick (Rochelle) Chappell. She was raised by her very special stepfather, Bradford Garland.
Preceding her in death are her grandparents, Edgar and Catherine Owens and Emma Johnson and Vernell Long and one sister, B'anca Chappell.
On April 23, 2010, Erica married her husband of 13 years, Cameron Jarvis and from this union they created two beautiful children.
Erica graduated from Charleston High School Class of 2005 and was employed at McDonald. She also worked at TJ Maxx for many years. To know her was to love her. She always kept a smile on her face and never met a stranger. She was loved by everyone she encountered.
One of her greatest blessings was becoming a mother, she loved her children so much. Erica Fredrica leaves to cherish her memories her husband; Cameron Jarvis, her Children; Jada and Kaden Jarvis, her parents; Bradford Jones and Carolyn Jones, Fredrick (Rochelle) Chappell. Her Grandfather; Charles Ray Johnson. Her sisters; Laqueen (Fredrick) Owens, Shaniyla Henderson, Burnadett Jones, Ebony Hamilton, Danielle Hart, Latavia and Michel'Le Flye. Her brothers; Demarcus Owens, Fredrick (Rainbow) Chappell, Marcus, Jermeriah (Damisha), Jarod, and Jamal Jones, Tori (Shannon) Rose and Deangelo Barnhill. Two special best friends, Sasha Williams and Nicole Murphy and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 27, 2023, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Pastor Floyd Wade will officiate.
