Logan Alexander Payne

Logan Alexander Payne, age 24, formerly of East Prairie, MO, died Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.

He was born on August 23, 2001, at Southeast Hospital (Mercy) in Cape Girardeau, MO. Logan graduated from Charleston High School in May 2020.

Logan is survived by his mother Rachelle (Payne) Dickerson of Kennett, Mo.; his sister, Bethanie Payne of Charleston, Mo., his aunt, Janiece Payne and cousin Daniel of Charleston, Mo., his uncle, Jason (Tracy) Patt of Benton, Mo., his grandmother, Mildred Almedia (Tanksley) Payne of East Prairie, Mo., a host of relatives and a great many friends. Logan was loved by all who knew him and will be sadly missed by all.

Family has decided not to do a funeral. There will be a memorial service planned at a later date.
