Paula Bryant Harper, age 81, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Born July 9, 1943, in Cairo, IL, to the late Paul Bryant and Stella Mae Clayton Bryant, she grew up in Charleston and later attended cosmetology school.   She would become one of the most sought out beauticians in the Sikeston area for many years as owner and operator of the Touch of Class Salon.   She was a member of First Baptist Church of Charleston and Sikeston.

Surviving is her daughter, Kimberly Renee (Bruce) Brubaker of Bement, MO; her son, Donald H. (Stephanie) Harper, Jr., of Sikeston; her grandchildren; Justin Wethington, Jessica (Brian) Burton, Danielle Harper (Adam Tinnin) and Trey (Brittany) Harper; nine great grandchildren; Olivia, Mason, Ariana, Takoda, Lennox, Gage, Sadie Kay, Lynleigh and Addy, as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Jo Reeves and Barbara Szabo and well as the father of her children, Donald H. Harper, Sr.

Visitation will be from noon until the funeral hour at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 7, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Sikeston. Pastor Curtis True will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be Adam Tinnin, Cory Tinnin, Bryce Tinnin, Chase Tinnin, Justin Wethington, Mason Norman and Brian Burton.
