Travaughn Zyshonne
Williams
Kansas City, Missouri
Travaughn Zyshonne Williams, affectionately known as Tray, was born Oct 14th 1999 in Sikeston, MO to Kameisha Campbell-Owens and Floyd Frierson. He was 26 years old at the time of his passing.
Tray was an amazing person and always a joy to be around, no matter how quiet, reserved or mysterious he often came across. He had the largest, brightest smile, and gave the best, tightest hugs ever. His favorite color was orange, he was an avid video game enthusiast, and loved comics, martial arts, anime, Pokémon and WWE wrestling.
Tray graduated from Charleston High School Class of 2019 where he was in JROTC, Color Gaurd, played baseball and ran Cross Country on the Track Team. Since graduating, he held down a steady job, first in Charleston where he grew up at Country Mart, and then, after he moved to KC MO, he worked at Guitar Center where he worked his way up to a supervisor position and continued to work at until the time of his passing. He received several Employee of the Month awards, loved his job and was a very dedicated, responsible hard worker. Responsible was a great way to describe Tray at anything.
Travaughn was the 1st born of his Mother’s 5 children. She often referred to him as the 1st beat of her 5 heartbeats! Tray loved being a big brother to his 3 younger brothers; Teijay Williams, Kevin Duncan Jr and Zacoreon Frierson as well as his 2 younger sister; Tameyah Williams and Teyarah Williams
He was preceded in his Homegoing by his Grandma Sylvia Campbell, his Grandpa Floyd Treadwell, his Aunts Tina Campbell, Darnel Campbell and Angela Campbell as well as his Uncles Calvin Campbell and Johnny Campbell
Travaughn will forever be loved and missed!
